Zone C is a brand new session offered free to anybody aged 8 to 18. Whether you’re looking for a fun space to chat, chill and create with other young people, try out art journaling or other creative activities, with talented artists, make new friends or even just have some space and time to yourself 20Twenty Productions have just what you’re looking for.
20Twenty engage with many young people who struggle with a range of issues including poor mental health, low self esteem, rural isolation, peer pressure, bullying, lack of aspirations, caring responsibilities, body image, exam pressures and lack of access to positive activities due to a huge range of factors.
According to the Child Wellbeing Index, a way of measuring the level of need and deprivation in an area, Fenland ranks the second most in need area, between Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Katherine Nightingale, Creative Director, told us “20Twenty have experienced that the children and young people that engage with us have said they feel ‘safe’, that they are offered support and encouragement and that the groups feel like a ‘family’.”
Zone C will be held fortnightly on Thursdays at The Oasis Centre, Wisbech at 5 – 6:30pm. There will also be a monthly drop-in session at March Town Hall on the last Saturday of every month, for aged 8 – 13,1pm – 2.30pm and for ages 14 – 18, it will be from 2.30pm – 4pm.
