Anecdotes

I also wanted to say thank you for the other ways that 20twenty have supported us this year. Rockband finished yesterday with a showcase to parents and was a huge success. I was really pleased with how it ran and being able to spread it across year groups meant that more children had access and opportunities to engage with music which was wonderful. Better still, we have someone in weekly for musical instrument tuition and he offers all of the instruments that Rock band had which means that if children enjoy their taster and wish to learn the instruments, they have the option to do so. I would really like to do this again next year, either at the same time of year or in the Spring Term. We will be aiming for a Spring concert at the end of March so that could work well.

I think that the children very much enjoyed the Wellbeing sessions (they always looked forward to you coming in). I would say that the programme not only gave them some physical takeaways, in terms of the Worry Worms etc, but also strategies they can use to support their wellbeing both in and out of school. When I have spoken with individual children, they told me that they were enjoying the programme and several asked when you would be back in for the final session so they definitely missed you! You were all supportive of the children and engaged well with them during the sessions. They felt comfortable talking to you. On a final note, on behalf of the Year 6 students and staff, thank you so much for coming in and working with us. We all very much enjoyed it

Teaching Assisant at Westwood

We had a hugely positive experience working with 20Twenty productions to write, illustrate and then sign our own anthologies. The project was well-designed and organised by the team of people who led it. It was wonderful to see the students of Year 5 feeling that they were real authors and had true ownership over the stories and illustrations. There was a buzz of excitement about this project and I hope it is something the students will remember for years to come. As teachers, we feel that it was a very beneficial curriculum enrichment activity and one that we would gladly participate in again.
