Holiday Activities and Food

The Holiday Activities and Food programme provides a healthy meal, a variety of activities and sports and the opportunity to socialise and have fun with other children and young people.

Funded by the  Department for Education, this programme is for families on free-school meals only.

The next HAF Programme will run between 20 July and 31 August 2023 (excluding bank holidays). Bookings open on Monday 12 June 2023. 

What will your child do?

Your child will:

  • Pick from options such as gaming, visual arts and musical theatre
  • Enjoy a healthy freshly prepared lunch
  • Socialise and have fun with other children

What will your child create?

Not all of our activities (such as sports based) involve creating something. However, your child could:

  • Take part in a muscial theatre
  • Create a piece of art

How will your child benefit?

Your child will:

  • Improve their confidence and self-esteem
  • Learn new skills
  • Simply have fun

How does my child get involved?

 The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is run for families eligible for free school meals during school holidays. Full information on this scheme is available on the Cambridgeshire County Council website. The HAF programme is funded by the Department for Education.
