Resilience

This resilience project is designed to support pupils in developing physical, mental, and emotional resilience through a structured programe of engaging outdoor and physical activities. By combining sport and mobility sessions with bushcraft and team-building challenges, pupils are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and learn practical life skills in a supportive environment. The project promotes perseverance, cooperation, and problem-solving while helping pupils develop a positive mindset towards challenges and personal growth.

What will pupils do?

Your class will:

  • Take part in sport and mobility activities to improve fitness, coordination, and physical confidence
  • Learn bushcraft skills such as shelter building, fire safety, and outdoor survival techniques
  • Engage in team-building tasks that require communication, trust, and cooperation
  • Participate in challenges that encourage problem-solving, leadership, and perseverance
  • Reflect on their experiences to recognize personal progress and strengths
