Shadow Puppets

A single-session activity designed for pupils in years 2. Pupils will create a short script and design shadow puppets that they can use to create a performance. The session will last 2-hours.

Receive support and guidance on how to write a script
Receive support and guidance on how to make a shadow puppet
Receive support and guidance on how to write a script

Your class will:

Create their own shadow puppets
Write their own script
Manage their own rehearsal time
Their own performance, performed before the class

Opportunity to develop reading and writing skills
Develop teamwork and time management skills
Developing self-belief and self-esteem from performance
