The Big Sing
The Big Sing is a schools cluster event hosted at the local secondary school, every primary school in the cluster can participate. The school receives two in person sessions delivered by The Big Sing team. Pupils will be taught two songs which they will then rehearse in their choir session and ultimately perform alongside the other schools with a live band of musicians.
Cluster dates: Chatteris Term 1 Performance at Cromwell Community College on 6 th December 2023
March Term 2 Performance TBC
Wisbech Term 3 Performance at Thomas Clarkson Academy on 16 th July 2024
What will your school do?
Each child will receive ‘The Big Sing’ Songbook, which has all the lyrics to every song they need to learn for the event. They will receive training in performance skills (that covers several aspects of the music curriculum), and a professionally filmed video of the whole event.
